VR-Group Ltd invests in added value logistics

VR-Group Ltd acquires added value logistics specialist PT Logistiikka Oy.

PT Logistiikka Oy is a logistics company operating in the Helsinki metropolitan area offering a full range of logistics services and specializing in comprehensive material flow management. The company's special know-how includes e.g. warehousing, picking, packaging and related information systems.

Logistics added value services and the outsourcing of those services are an expanding business. Companies want to outsource more of their auxiliary activities and focus on core business activities. VR Transpoint wants to have a stronger market penetration in this business sector. We are joining together PT Logistiikka's know-how and VR Transpoint's strong ownership base and service range. This way we are able to offer our customers Finland's most extensive logistics service package.

PT Logistiikka Oy is merged into VR Transpoint's LTL (Groupage) Logistics. The owner of PT Logistiikka Dan Skurnik and the company staff continue their work as VR Transpoint employees.
