Chemical forest industry

FTL Logistics is the carrier of forest industry products and raw materials. We handle direct deliveries of small and large consignments to customers and harbours according to the agreed delivery schedule.

We transport annually approximately 2.1 million tonnes of various paper and board products as reel and pallet deliveries for domestic customers and to export terminals. The considerable fluctuation of the size of daily consignments requires sufficient resources for capacity planning and controlled flexibility. If required, our qualified drivers handle and unload the products in accordance with instructions into the customer's warehouse.

Chemical products transported include various raw materials, such as chemical pulp and kaoline. Large reel sizes and two-way goods flows, which are typical in the transports, are handled through various types of vehicle bodies and cargo space solutions.

Operational management and resource flexibility require functioning and real-time online solutions with the customer, either directly in the factory system or as data message communications. Message communications is always bidirectional meaning that information on the delivery schedule is sent to both the factory and to the destination. Itemized events of operations are regularly produced for monitoring and development purposes.
